For some of us though we do not want to choose a whey or casein based product. There are many of us who avoid or are allergic to dairy, and there are those of us who avoid it for ethical reasons. So, for this reason, I’ve compiled a list of the top plant-based protein powders for women.
Protein powders are a fantastic way to get in some extra protein.
Try it mixed in with your oats, or add some to a delicious smoothie or you can even use it in baked goodies like pancakes or cookies. Most protein powders have chocolate or vanilla flavouring so they work great in baking.
Two things to consider when selecting a good protein powder; TASTE, obviously, but ingredients are also really important.
These protein powders can be made from brown rice, quinoa, peas, hemp, soya, chia seeds or even a blend of a few of these.

Which one do I recommend? All of them, they are excellent in their own way. It depends on how I feel on the day, which flavour I fancy or what I’m making with it too, a smoothie, adding it to oats or baking something delicious.
I hope this list helps you decide, but I also recommend you to try a few different kinds and decide which one you like.
Try them in water or non-dairy milk and also in smoothies with flavourful fruit.
Which ones have you tried? And which ones are your favourites? Is there another one that you like that I have not included on this list?
